Over the past few months I’ve had the pleasure to art direct an exciting new project for NowHere Media: a photo exhibition and an accompanying AR application for @aliph_foundation . ALIPH has been supporting the protection and restoration of cultural heritage sites in over 30 countries around the world.
The exhibition, recently by the lake of Geneva, takes you on a visual tour through the sites ALIPH has been engaged in.
Another exhibition took place in Paris, with more to come.
Using photogrammetry scans we were able to implement the real site into the App for everyone to witness the grandeur of these cultural marvels – such as Temple of Baalshamin, Palmyra (Syria), Al Askandrih Mosque (Yemen), Arch of Ctesiphon/Taq Kasra (Iraq) and the Grand Mosque of Agadez (Niger).
