XR is short for “extended reality”. It sums up the terms VR, AR and MR which is short for Virtual / Augmented / Mixed Reality.
To an extend I’m including 360° cinema into this section as this form of display creates a very similar effect of immersion that VR is creating. I’m very happy to have worked as Art Director for very special projects:
